A melancholic, atmospheric 2D animated short exploring themes of life, death, and maternal control. A young girl and boy long for a blurry, distant shore across the water. They constantly fantasize about escaping their ghostly, stagnant city and fleeing from the suffocating dominion of the girl's mother to witness an unknown world. To build a map of this foreign paradise, they begin stealing personal effects and photographs from passing tourists, using these fragments to piece together the shape of an alternative reality. They sketch out fictional travel plans and enthusiastically perform gymnastic routines to train for their eventual departure, living for the day they can finally break free. Yet, the haunting question remains: will the moment to depart for "the other side" ever truly arrive?
